Mastercard has unveiled its transformed Mastercard Experience Centre in Dubai, reinforcing its continued investment in the UAE as the company marks 40 years in the country. Located at Mastercard’s regional headquarters in Dubai Internet City, the Mastercard Experience Centre serves as a flagship customer engagement destination for 81 markets across Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EEMEA).

Customers, regulators and other ecosystem stakeholders as well as student delegations can look forward to a re-imagined visitor journey with an immersive demonstration environment, redesigned collaboration spaces and digital installations that tell Mastercard’s story. It gives those that collaborate with Mastercard a closer look at how Mastercard advances the movement of value across the digital economy, helping businesses explore technologies that can support their growth and enable more people to realize their potential.

The Mastercard Experience Center features three connected zones. Discovery provides a flexible setting for customer conversations, from executive briefings to full-day working sessions. Experience presents Mastercard technology through immersive demonstrations, helping customers assess its potential applications and make informed business decisions. Engagement introduces purpose-built collaboration rooms where ideas can progress into structured workshops and solution development with Mastercard product teams.

“Over the past four decades, Mastercard has grown alongside the UAE, a country defined by ambition, partnership and a determination to keep moving forward. The Mastercard Experience Centre reflects that same spirit, bringing our technology closer to the people shaping the future of commerce,” said Mark Elliott, division president for East Arabia at Mastercard. “By creating a space for collaboration, where ideas can be explored and solutions developed together,we can help turn new ideas into practical applications that support the UAE’s digital economy and create opportunities across the wider region.”

Serving issuing banks, merchants, fintechs, early-stage founders and government stakeholders, the Mastercard Experience Centre brings the wider payments ecosystem together. It hosts client immersions, executive briefings, regional events and Mastercard Academy programs, while providing a setting to advance commercial conversations and develop new payment solutions.

Customers can also explore AI use cases and engage with thought leadership and initiatives emerging from Mastercard’s global Centre for AI and Advanced Technology in Dubai, connecting its work with opportunities facing businesses across the region.

Engagements also extend to universities and students from regional and global institutions. Mastercard uses the space for knowledge sharing and supports selected programs through capstone research projects, with student internships planned from 2027.

Since its opening in 2018, the Mastercard Experience Center witnessed multiple milestones on the company’s journey of building a prosperous digital economy – from landmark strategic collaboration agreement signings to the launches of diverse transformative initiatives.
