Entrepreneur Maya Touati Launches International Private Office And Strategic Advisory
Maya Touati has launched Maya Touati Advisory, a global private office and strategic advisory working with business owners, family offices, institutions, organisations, partnerships and long-term initiatives across markets.
Operating at the intersection of strategy, culture, institutions and influence, Maya Touati Advisory has been established to support projects that require more than a conventional advisory approach. The firm brings together strategic direction, institutional relationships, cultural intelligence and specialist expertise to help clients develop and advance ambitious projects across sectors and geographies.
The Advisory works with governments, cultural institutions, foundations, educational organisations, family offices and purpose-led entities. Its areas of work include strategic advisory, institutional relations, cultural and knowledge strategy, project development, partnerships, new ventures and selected special mandates.
“The most ambitious projects today rarely sit within a single sector or geography,” said Maya Touati, Founder of Maya Touati Advisory. “They require an understanding of institutions, people, culture and capital, as well as the ability to bring the right expertise and relationships around a shared direction. I created the Advisory to work precisely at that intersection.”
The Advisory’s selected work reflects the variety of its remit. One example is Madar Institute, an independent think tank, knowledge and cultural platform founded by Maya Touati. Developed through the Advisory, Madar brings together thinkers, creators, institutions and decision-makers through research, publications, strategic dialogues, institutional roundtables, university exchanges and public programmes. The conceptual foundation of Madar Institute is embedded within its name. In the Arabic language, “Madar” signifies an orbit—the gravitational axis or fixed point around which celestial bodies and dynamic systems turn. The institute works across five core pillars—Minds, Access, Dialogue, Action, and Resonance (M.A.D.A.R.)
Maya Touati, added: “Madar Institute provides the world and the global intellectual community with a permanent, independent orbit where the most consequential minds can test bold ideas, bridge ideological and sectoral boundaries, and transform intellectual inquiry into durable civilizational progress. Madar Institute provides the missing institutional home that turns ideas into lasting consequence”.
Beyond Madar, the Advisory supports private family offices on selected projects and works with organisations on cultural, institutional and place strategy for major developments. Depending on the assignment, the Advisory’s role may include defining the strategic direction, developing the concept, building institutional relationships and partnerships, conducting research, shaping programmes and bringing together the specialist expertise required to move the project forward.
“We are building an Advisory that is intentionally selective, allowing us to remain closely involved and give each project the senior attention it requires,” Touati added. “Our role goes beyond offering advice from the outside. We work with clients to define the ambition, understand the commercial, institutional and cultural considerations surrounding it, and identify the partners, relationships and specialist expertise needed at each stage. Our focus is to turn a strong idea into a credible, well-structured project with a clear path to implementation.”
